Well, technically you can control them can't you? Lucid dreaming and all that. I've only ever managed to wake myself up from bad dreams - normally when I'm about to die. But I would control them better, because who wants to have dreams where they're being trapped by zombies or chased around a maze by a tiger.
And well... Hee. They would be fun dreams. =]
